Following EFC's review of staffing at the University of Bath Development and Alumni Relations department, we were engaged to help new staff coming in from outside higher education to acclimatise, understand the sector norms and get up to speed as quickly as possible.

We provided an induction and mentoring programme to help new team members advance their understanding of fundraising and engagement in higher education, supporting them in developing new work plans and testing ideas.

We worked with the new team over six months, taking a structured approach to the content for each role. This gave staff members time to reflect on challenges, individual skill requirements and improved general sector knowledge.
