Queen's University Belfast has a very established Development and Alumni Relations team and a successful track record in engagement and fundraising. As the team prepared to grow and move to a new stage of fundraising and engagement, EFC was engaged to review all aspects of the department's operations and development services to ensure they were fit for purpose and working efficiently.
We spent time with the team in Belfast and undertook detailed analysis of processes, procedures and data as evidence of team activities. We provided a detailed report with a plan for a new team structure and roles, identified training needs and solutions for a range of operational issues.
We left the team with a clear plan for improvements, supported them with implementing the changes and worked with the university to recruit new key posts in the department.

Improved efficiency in the university's operations and development services. Helped identify gaps in staffing and recruited new team members.
